A Holy People
This week lesson takes us to the book of 1 Peter. The passage we will be studying is 1 Peter 1:13-25. In this book Peter is addressing the subject of holiness. I read in a book one time that God cares more about our holiness than our happiness. So what does it mean to live a life that is holy? I hope you all come this week and discuss this very important topic. I will leave you with a thought from our study commentary. Being holy does not happen by receding into a life of passivity. It happens, rather, by pursuing righteousness with all the strength Jesus gives us to do so.

I believe that living a life that is holy is not what you do but HOW you do it. It is the Holy Spirit exuding from you that others can "see".
I was admitting a patient one day- talking to her and doing my usual patient assessment - when her father states, "I know that you are a Christian and I am thankful that you are taking care of my daughter and grandbaby".
I was astonished and honored by his words! What had I done to make him say that? It wasn't what I had done, but how I did it.
I pray that I can exude the Holy Spirit more often!
Great Comment!!! Thanks for you and Davids willingness to serve!!!
